Yoga

I first learned yoga as a child in my Indian immigrant spiritual community. My favorite asana was Savasana...which is still my favorite!! I returned to my mat in adulthood to help connect and heal my mind, body, and spirit.  After many years of study and practice, I earned my 500 hour Yoga Teacher credential. I practice from a perspective that honors all 8 limbs of yoga, with respect to this sacred spiritual practice rooted in Ancient South Asia.

I currently volunteer to teach Hatha style Yoga in a school setting with teachers and children. I offer donation-based classes occasionally, please email to find out my current schedule. Donations received will be shared with a family farm in a rural South Indian village. Thank you for allowing us to support the people, animals, and land in which this ancient healing practice originates.

All ages, abilities, and backgrounds are welcome. Our community honors a decolonized approach to health and healing, we make attempts to reduce the impact of hierarchical structures of society and work to honor those most impacted by trauma, colonization, and systemic oppression. Please be mindful of the need for boundaries, privacy, and safe space in trauma-impacted communities.
